faith : strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof 

threshold: the magnitude or intensity that must be exceeded for a certain reaction, phenomenon, result, or condition to occur or be manifested 


tarry: to abide or stay in or at a place 


resolve: 1. settle or find a solution 2. decide firmly on a course of actions 


discern: perceive or recognize (something)2. distinguish (someone or something) by difficulty by sight or with other senses  


martyr: a person  who is killed because of their religious or other beliefs 


mirth : amusement, especially as expressed in laughter 


catechism: a summary of the principles of christian religion in the form of questions and answers, used for the instruction of Christians 


pious: devoutly religious 


frenzy: a state or period of uncontrolled excitement or wild behavior
